A Vintage Christmas ♥ Comfort & Joy #7 ...

~The gifts of Nature * Inside & Out~

{my decorating helper}
Our outside urns are filled with pine and cedar sprigs
pine cones of every shape and size
birch bark branches

Ikea lanterns
golden shatterproof bulbs
nests from the garden
strips of found bark make wonderful fillers
grapevine balls so easy to make
by simply twisting grapevine around your hand  a few times in one direction
take off your hand and wrap in the opposite direction
turn ball and continue doing this until you have a sturdy ball shape
clip grapevine and secure with a small piece of thin gauge wire.
garden gifts
d
Our Maple tree needed a bit of a trim to help keep it healthy
and one of the branches was just the perfect length to go across the two bookcases that
flank the 3 kitchen windows
wrapped in garland
and twinkle lights
it is the perfect, out of reach, safe spot for my collection
of glass birds ♥
I love the look so much that I may just leave it there year-round
and hang my collection of hand blown witches balls
someone found all this decorating tiring :-}

Hi Deb... and Archer, your little elf!... everything looks so pretty, I love decorating with Nature... I would leave that gorgeous garland with your collection of birdies up year round, it is so beautiful.... and how sweet Archer looks in his hat... all tuckered out from decorating!... sending much love from a VERY cold Centerville!... xoxo Julie Marie and Tessy

Poor little Archer having to keep up with all this holiday activity. It makes a boy very tired.
Hugs,

hi Julie marie & tessy ~ thank you ♥ I think I probably will keep the fallen branch there :-) Archer has been pretty tired ... he follows me around ALL day so when I stop to do something he rests {ha ha}

hi Meredith ~ one of the reasons Archer was so tired is that he "helped himself" to some Christmas baking :-D Archer's version of "Holiday Activity" ♥
