A Vintage Christmas ♥ Comfort & Joy #3 ...

I love working with felt.
It's inexpensive, readily available, and easy on the hands.
I find comfort & joy in making hand crafted gifts each year.
Mr. & Mrs. Fox are finished & were so much fun to make!

It's amazing how once the  eyes are in place
they begin to take on their own little  personality.
 Mr. Cedar Fox
wears a repurposed sweater
with felt arm pads
whilst Mrs. Ivy Fox stays warm in knitted shawl & matching headband
{working on a felt cape }
reading slippers to keep Mr. Cedar Fox warm

& bow tie to complete his outfit.

A gathering satchel to hold twigs & pinecones
& other found treasures is a necessity for Mrs. Ivy Fox
on those long Woodland walks.
and lots of little felt & fabric birds have been made
to fly to friends homes for the holidays
but this little snow bird's a keeper
and
will stay home.
