I am forever grateful to live in such a beautiful corner of the world ♥
daily walks along lake Ontario fill my heart and soul
with serenity and gratitude
watching the boats
the waves ... they were crashing this morning...
the salty scent from the water and the sound of waves raising
as I walked absorbing her energy & giving her mine
seeing "images" in driftwood
and watching the blades of grass sway
wild flowers
reaching for the sun
they know what to do
sweet sitting {meditation} spot
flocks of geese
carved paths luring me towards the sand ... time for some
barefoot walking :-D

like a lake,
with a calm, still surface,
and great depths of kindness"

Loved these.
I grew up on the shores of Lake Huron, i used to watch barges just like that go by in the distance.
Oh how I miss living near the water. The lake that is in Cold Lake is nowhere the size of Lake Ontario, and I've yet to visit any of the Great Lakes, but I can imagine how wonderful it must be. I have recently heard it compared to an ocean.
Blessings,
Andrea
Stunning pictures as always, Deb! A virtual paradise as far as I've seen. Love your first paragraph...I identify with your quote as well.

Hi Sandi ~ have enjoyed many walks along Lake Huron & searching for beach glass treasures xo
hi Andrea ~yes, there is something about the water ... I think it must be in my DNA as I was born by the sea in England ... it calls to me ♥ Wishing you a beautiful week friend xo
