I love exploring our garden in the month of May ...
when it seems that a walk around the garden shows new signs
almost every day ...
the lilac is in full bloom now,
as is the white bleeding heart in our shade garden...
lily of the valley have spread this year to a bit more of the garden space & many will need to be moved ... the columbine have grown in spirts ... clematis vine is clinging onto the arbour ...peony buds are swelling and ants crawling over each little bud helping it to open ...
grass has been mowed a few times...the garden is taking shape once again

He leaped the fence
and saw
that all nature
was a garden

Lovely photos . Yes all is in bloom here to and it all looks and smell glorious . Thanks for sharing , Have a good week !
The lilacs are gorgeous...I can almost smell them from here! Looks like you may need a new set of watercolors soon! I love this painting. :)
I need to get out and explore my new blooms. It seems I am always doing the chores; hauling out the hoses and sprinklers, sowing grass seed, pulling weeds. I'm a long way off from sitting under the umbrella with a cold iced tea. But I do have that to look forward to!!

hi Jane ~ the aroma today was unbelievable! we got home from a little getaway and opened up all the windows and the lilac has perfumed our home :-D
the watercolours are oldies that's for sure - the first set I bought and kept for sentimental reasons if nothing else :-D
