It's that time of the year again when we look at the garden with fresh eyes.
Some plants need to be moved as they have outgrown their space
and we think of changes we want to make
to the garden beds.
Looking through a few photos from last Summer to get an idea of changes we might want to make ...
Our {ever growing} collection of garden treasures come out of storage.
Sweet Mr Sun has been repaired many times
but after a bit of touch up, will be ready to brighten our garden another year.
We have a few Peony plants in our garden which we love!
and lots of bird baths tucked into all kinds of nooks for the birds.
It's lovely to watch the birds enjoying a splash about or sit quietly sipping water.
Everything in our garden is with the birds/butterflies/bees/nature in mind.
It's all natural and a little haven for both us and them ♥
Love spotting nests {found all over our garden}

Our English Country cutting garden
a little Robin family {taken a few years ago}
sewn garden flags
filled to the brim waiting to go indoors and create some bouquets
found this lovely little metal leaf
and placed it by our pond
little did we know that it would make a wonderful mini birdbath for baby birds
they love to sit here ♥

The weather today is incredible.
Heading out into the garden with my tea, Archer, & garden journal :-D

I just love seeing those beautiful blue eggs, and the sleeping bird is just too sweet. The entire post of your garden is beautiful. Lovely thing to look forward, the Spring? Isn't it wonderful?!
Andrea
Your resident bunny is the sweetest little thing! And you have such a beautiful garden too.....I am reminded it's time to get going on my own back yard oasis!
Hugs to Archer. x
I can't remember seeing photos of your garden in all the years we've been friends. How sweet...from the picket fence to the gorgeous flowers (love peonies!). I've never seen a sleeping bird outdoors...my parrot sleeps all day it seems!
I hope you keep posting pics of your yard and gardens!

thank you Andrea - always such a thrill to spot nests and eggs especially when they are in your own garden ♥ some years we have literally had nests built in the front/side/and backyard of our home making it tricky to know what door to use to leave the house :-D
hi Julie ~ we just love seeing the bun buns in our garden - being vegetarian there is always a lovely supply of fresh peel in the compost, so they are always seen chomping happily away :-D I gave Archer your hug xo
hi Jane ~ so happy to have shown you a bit of our garden ... I must remember to post more it seems :-D Rainy and cold here today ~ Archer has been sleeping most of it all curled up on the window seat as there hasn't been a break long enough to go for a walk and he literally backed up away from the door when I opened it for him to go out :-D ha ha
