The ordinary arts we practice every day at home are of more importance to the soul than their simplicity might suggest ~ Sir Thomas Moore ~

Clematis ...

Everything in it's own time
in the garden
first I look forward to the Lilac blooming in our backyard
and then the Peony bushes blooming in the front garden
and then ...
once the Lilac and Peony have had their show,
our arbours are covered in a pop of purple
Go forth,
and play joyfully
in the garden
of life

I love CLematis too Deb. These photos are GORGEOUS!!! I just went out this morning and took a few snaps of the ones that have opened lately. Some others are taking their own sweet time to bloom. Isn't it a great time of year?
sending hugs...

hello june ~ I can only imagine how gorgeous your garden is looking!
seems each walk through the garden shows some change at this time of year which I love! the other day our lilies opened up so now we have huge splashes of yellow :-) we have a Hibiscus in one corner of the garden and it is a real show stopper when it blooms. we planted it almost 10 years ago and the blooms now are dinner plate sized :-)
have a wonderful weekend xo hugs to you.
