Yarn Along...

As soon as I picked up Knit Your Own Dog, I looked for "Labrador Retriever".

The one in the book is a golden lab, but I pulled out my black wool. Thinking of Ben & Ernie which each stitch knit. I think Bernie is a good name for him ♥

Yes, dogs are allowed on our beds :-)
Picked up this gorgeous coffee table type book at our local animal shelter store.

In Praise of Labs is filled with heartwarming Labrador stories & beautifully illustrated.

Hi Deb,
It was so good to hear from you. You quit coming up on my sidebar and dashboard so I thought you hadn't been posting. Now I see you have been all along. I'm so sorry I have missed out. I will have to find the problem.
Your recipe for the jam jams came just in time for me. I love these and can you believe I have never made them before? I want to try the recipe, so thank you.
Wishing you a very merry Christmas!
hugs from here...

What a fun book for knitters. My MIL who has everything she ever wants/needs could use this book since she is knitting to stay alive. (Her words.) This would give her a new project. She mostly knits sweaters. I am so glad you posted this. Your black lab is beautiful. Ben and Ernie would be proud. This quote is oh so right.
