time to sharpen up the pencil crayons

so many gorgeous colours to choose from

it's one of the little rituals that I love ... gathering up all my supplies before I even think of what page to choose first ~ the wonderful quiet mindfulness of colouring

little things like having my shavings gathered in my little fox dish :-) make me smile

I loved the whimsical cover of Issue 3 as we have a planter that is a little pair of boots on our front porch that are very similar to the cover boots ♥

In the garden ...

A favourite little spot to sit is in my front garden courtyard.

There is a birdbath next to the chair and often I will be surprised by visitors who stop by for a drink {or splash about}

the lilies are putting on a beautiful show

I love the pop of yellow in the garden

red geranium

they are a favourite

to get to our back yard

you walk through an arbour of purple clematis

pretty purple blooms

so pretty

lots of buds

love

and more urns filled with red geraniums

a very old and rusty flower sign sits

in some grapevine I twisted into a wreath

and our beautiful, majestic Maple

which receives lots of hugs from this tree hugger :-)

and as always, is filled with page upon page of beautiful illustrations to be coloured ♥
