A furry feast ...

This was the scene Christmas morning ...
the only thing left of the garland was a small strand of Cheerios.
I do hope the birds managed to get a few nibbles!
I thought he looked so cute with his "candy necklace" :-)
Little bits of loose twine hung from the branches with
no food in site. On the ground were a few orange/tangerine peels.
The only proof that there was ever garlands of food strung on the tree.
yes, I think this proves that our squirrels are
very well fed :-)

He is adorable. We had squirrels and a feeder for them at our old home . . . I miss watching them play out my kitchen window.

hi Connie ~ we often say "who needs a t.v." when watching the squirrels from our kitchen window - they are pretty comical :-)

hi Julie Marie ~ this one is Max :-) and he loves the cheerio garlands. We actually fell for all the stares in the kitchen window and made an all cheerio garland for New Years :-)

hi Julie ~ they are all pretty spoiled. There's a little one that sits on the deck railing in the morning who is the cutest little thing ever (so tiny) and I make a special treat for him each morning :-) And I agree ... the most gorgeous tails.
