When I returned home yesterday afternoon, I took my tea and a painting I was working on outside. The sun was shining, and the moment I opened the door to step outside I was greeted with the incredible scent of Lilac. Ahh Lilac days ♥
As I sat on my deck, I spent a few moments just listening to the water from our corner pond. A sound that is so relaxing. Out of the corner of my eye I spotted our resident male and female Cardinals splashing in one of our bird baths.
It didn't take long before I went inside to get my camera :-)
As I walked around the garden, I noticed this beautiful Robin atop of our fence post.
He was taking in all the beauty too, and was very kind to stay long enough for me to take a few photos.

Robin left this little treasure behind in our garden pond
which we gathered and placed in one of our fallen nest finds

hi Meredith - thank you ♥ I must say I agree, Archer is pretty beautiful :-)
hi Monique ~ thank you for stopping by ♥ have a wonderful weekend.
Deb, that is the best capture of the robin! It is like he is thinking to himself---"wow, I am so lucky to live here!"
It's beautiful in your garden and I bet Archer is loving it too.
much love...
hello june ~ I was so surprised at how calm mr robin was and thrilled he allowed me to be walking around (I had my macro lens on the camera so had to walk around a bit in order to focus) even the sound of the lens did not bother him. And Archer, my shadow, where ever I am, he is there ♥ love to you xo
