deep in thought on our walk today.
It's been a few days since I've been able to bring my camera with me on our walks.
I really missed having it with me, but walking was tricky with ice under snow.

I love that in Winter you see more. Things that are hidden during the Summer are now exposed. Does Archer like the snow?
I really love coming across a little nest all tucked away. A cute little story about a nest: A friend's dog had recently passed and while walking through her yard, she came across a nest in her hedge that had been built mostly with her beloved pet's fur. It meant so much to her, she carefully removed it from the brambles, and seeing as how she is a professional framer, created a beautiful shadow box from it and a few of Ginger's other belongings. It was beautiful, and what a keepsake!

Andrea - thank you for sharing this beautiful, heartwarming story! The shadow box is a lovely idea .I'd love to see a photo of this precious keepsake ♥ Our first lab Bentley had beautiful fluffy fur and when I would brush him I always left the fur in the garden to be taken away by the birds & squirrels. Our second lab Ernest barely shed, so there wasn't much fur to leave, and now we have Archer whose hair is very bristly and even though I put it outside after a brushing, it is never touched by the birds & squirrels :-)
