The temps have dropped drastically these past few days
a mixture of wind & rain & hail
hats & gloves needed on walks with Archer
most of the garden furniture has been washed & stored for another year
won't be long and we will be hanging Christmas lights and stringing garlands on the picket fence :-}
sitting at the kitchen table, warming up with a fresh out of the oven cinnamon bun
and mug of tea, I watched the Sparrows through the window ...
the cool weather has them at the feeders for longer stretches of time ...
I love watching their quirky little ways ... each one is special & unique ♥
oh how I love my Sparrows ...
such a source of inspiration
comfort & joy ...
a few watercolours from Sparrow Studio in the form of a new painting
'Nests of wild things
in her hair'
♥
my favourite part comes next ...
adding in all the detail
little legs, feet & feathers :-}
Happy is the person
who not only sings,
but feels
God's eye
is on the Sparrow,
and knows
He watches over me.
To be simply
ensconced
in God
is true joy.

Good morning Deb... I always love reading about your precious Sparrows... and how much they mean to you... and you to them... your paintings are so beautiful!... makes me want to get out my paints, grab a cup of tea and do the same thing... only I am not the artist you are... but it is a nice past time... xoxo Julie Marie

Love your sparrows, Deb! It's time to get our bird feeders out. One of our favourite past times is watching the birds that visit the feeder. xo
