A beautiful day for our hike ...
we walked through fields of dandelions ...
I wanted to make a dandelion chain necklace for Archer but he was so happy to see his buddy Junior who was just finishing his walk. No time to sit and be measured for a dandelion necklace :-)
The trees were filled with blooms ...
and oh the bees! The woods were alive with the music of birds & bees.
Blissful.
blooms & bokeh ♥
& one little Zebra Swallowtail butterfly who followed us through our ENTIRE hike.

Indeed, it seems the whole world is singing now. I wish I knew how to make a dandelion necklace. I'd make one for me!! :))))
Oooh, your Zebra Swallowtail is beautiful!... how fun she followed you on your whole walk!... sometimes, the Dragonflies and Damselflies will fly along next to Tessy when we walk the trail... she loves them and knows they won't hurt her (or me)... but, she goes into her "alert" position when a hornet comes close!... xoxo... Amazing that the butterfly followed you, beautiful pictures. And I bet Archer would look lovely in a dandelion necklace. Hugs to you,
Meredith
Beautiful postings my lovely friend. I enjoy your photographs and quotes so very much indeed.

Thank you Starr - I remember making them every summer as a child {and teen :-)}
Hi Julie Marie,
Archer was not bothered at all by the Swallowtail, BUT he has been trying to catch the bees & hornets :-(
Hi Meredith - It really was amazing that s(he) followed us - coming so close to me that I thought s(he) would find a resting spot on my arm :-)
Thank you Jeanne ♥
Monica - Oh yes, I was inspired too and incorporated this beauty in a painting I was working on over the weekend ♥
So nice to find a field of dandelions which also found their way into a painting :-)
