Friday ...

Quiet and calm as we walked today ...
Only a few traces of snow left behind now ...

The first birds of Spring Twenty Thirteen :-)

This little fellow wasn't afraid at all as I got closer and closer...

and it was so nice to hear the gentle cooing of the Doves.
Have a wonderful weekend ♥

Your first picture is so peaceful, I'd love to see this on a walk. And it looks like the birds are ready to start nesting in your area, how nice!

Have a great weekend, Deb!

Jane

Every morning I hear the doves cooing, it is such a beautiful sound as the darkness of night fades away. I wish I could remember to really enjoy it when I hear it.
Hugs to you,
Meredith

Julie Marie - I can just imagine how gorgeous the Lesser Goldfinch are in your garden! The Goldfinch visit our garden when our Lilac is in bloom and the colour between the purple of the lilac and brilliant yellow of the finch is breathtaking ♥

Hi Meredith - I love waking up to the soft sounds of the doves. They have been nesting in our garden for years now and seem to switch between the two garden gates (making it out-of-order for a while) :-)
