One Word A Week Wednesday ...

42/52
~ ♥ Heart ♥ ~
***
And none
will hear
the postman's knock
without a quickening
of the heart
For who
can bear to feel
himself forgotten!

This is a perfect photo for this poem. I still love to get "letters". The perfect gift.

I love this quote Deb. How true it is. I remember an old man who lived near us when I was growing up, and although he could barely walk, he made the trek to the mailbox daily, most of the time going back into his house empty handed. I still remember the sadness I felt for him.
I loved the pictures of your hidden treasure. What a lovely spot to walk.
hugs to you...
