♥ Bundles ...

Today was a baking day ...
 Cookies to keep
&
Cookies to give ...
Cookies are made of butter and love
~Norwegian Proverb~
Wrapped up in Valentine ribbon ...
little bundles of love
And while I waited for the timer to go off, letting me know the next batch was ready to come out of the oven, I enjoyed a cup of tea, read, and enjoyed an Oatmeal Raisin Cookie too :-)
Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
1 cup softened butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 large free range egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/4 cups quick cooking rolled oats
1 cup Raisins (more or less to suit your taste)
***
In a large bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar.  Add egg and vanilla and beat until smooth.
Combine flour, b soda and salt and add to butter mixture.
Add rolled oats and raisins and mix well.
Using a tablespoon, drop on parchment covered cookie sheets about 2 inches apart.  Bake 350F for approx 10 minutes.  Cool on wire racks.
Enjoy!

I think those cookies are as sweet as their maker! Love the idea too of tying them up with heart ribbon!
