The ordinary arts we practice every day at home are of more importance to the soul than their simplicity might suggest ~ Sir Thomas Moore ~

...each moment

”I think everything in life is art. What you do. How you dress. The way you love someone, and how you talk. Your smile and your personality. What you believe in, and all your dreams. The way you drink your tea. How you decorate your home. Or party. Your grocery list. The food you make. How your writing looks. And the way you feel. Life is art.” – Helena Bonham Carter

...when you bring home an unusual shaped stone from the lake { in the summer} & it sits in a bowl... and then, just like that, you see nature hidden inside just waiting to come out ...
My gathering partner ... no matter what the weather, we head out together ... wandering and collecting ...
last Summer I collected so many unusual shaped stones as we walked along the beach... they have sat in a big bowl ever since. Every once in a while I will look at one and  see exactly what's waiting to emerge ... One day, that bowl will be a menagerie of animals :-D
An amazing thing happens when you get honest with yourself
and start doing what you love, what makes you happy.
Your life literally slows down.
You stop wishing for the weekend.
You stop merely looking forward to special events.
You begin to live in each moment
and you start feeling like a human being.
You just ride the wave that is life,
with this feeling of contentment and joy.
You move fluidly,
steadily,
calm
& grateful.
A veil is lifted
and a whole new perspective is born.

~happy Monday~

Good to see the Hunter Gatherers together. The fawn on the rock is sweet and so well done.
