candlemas day ...

wiarton willie has predicted
6 more weeks of Winter...
when I looked out my dining room window yesterday evening, I spotted Mr & Mrs Cardinal.
Even though it was getting late, and there was not much light, they looked so lovely together & I
just had to snap a photo of them sitting in our very snowy garden ♥
happy Candlemas day

Oh Deb, your cardinals are just beautiful!... I so wish we had them here in Utah... I am taking a week off from posting to get alot of things done around the house, but will check in each day for new posts of yours... you are my favorite blog!... Tessy sends doggie kisses to Archer!... xoxo (woof!)... Julie Marie and Tessy PS Just marked the Eagle we saw on our walk we just got back from in my field notes journal you sent me!... I got a photo of him, but he was soaring sooo high, it probably won't show much... but every time we see one, it casts a magical spell on me... I love them!...

hi Julie marie - thank you! the photo wasn't the best as it was so dark when I spotted them, but they are so lovely and look so stunning against the snowy branches that I just had to post it :-D. so happy you are filling your field notes journal with all your wonderful finds... seeing your Eagle again ... maybe he is your Animal Totem ♥
