the snow walkers ...

Archer wearing his favourite bandana
a gift from friends Tessy
and her Mama Julie Marie
it snowed last night and everything looked so beautiful and crisp on our weekend walk through the woods,
but it was so bitterly cold
that as soon as his bandana hit the snow it froze!

Love these Wintery words by Pablo Neruda ~
I am a book of snow,
a spacious hand,
an open meadow,
a circle that waits,
I belong to the earth
and its Winter
~Pablo Neruda~

Looks like that there's no end to Winter on your side of the ocean while it seems we skip it here! Although Spring is tempting I do love your Winter pictures and shared poem.Have a good week, Anita xx

I love that bright yellow bandana on Archer! :) even though it's bitterly cold, it's starting to feel like Spring. Maybe it's just the sunshine today that makes me feel that way. Stay warm, Deb! xo

I love how you always look at life in the positive Deb. Some are not taking advantage of the snow as you and Archer are. I love his bright bandana and I bet you are able to spot him easily with it on.
I sure wish you were meeting Julie and I too Deb. What a great time that would be!
sending hugs...
