The ordinary arts we practice every day at home are of more importance to the soul than their simplicity might suggest ~ Sir Thomas Moore ~

Thankful {things I love} Thursday ...

It took me a while to decide what to do with  a folder of artwork ...
I like to use my own designs in my collages & have lots of samples
where I've tried out new paints, pens, markers, brushes on ...
and I actually came up with the idea while I was tearing them up  ...
and saw all these gorgeous colours and patterns :-)
~hidden treasures~
and decided to CUT the remainder up ...
I then created a few collages ...
maybe I will sew a few together and make a garland ...
or a really big piece of abstract  art!
I have a box full of triangles just waiting to begin a new life :-D
for now ...
they made for a lovely patchwork quilt
it was a bit like sitting with puzzle pieces
as I fit one half of a painted butterfly with another
 ♥
we got a huge blast of Winter yesterday
which left us with a few more inches of fresh snow ...
and the tennis ball that Archer left outside a few days earlier
could not be found ...
even though he tried so hard :-D

Awwww, poor pups. My dog will be so excited when his toys show up in the Spring. There are at least 3 missing since before Christmas.
Love the patchwork idea!

hi Julie marie & tessy ~ archer was so funny with his entire head stuck in the snow determined to find his tennis ball which when tossed to him he just looks at :-D
I was happy I had the camera handy to snap a pic when he took his head out of the snow!

What a wonderful idea, Deb! It looks like a stained glass window. :)

Has Archer found his tennis ball yet?
