As soon as I picked up Knit Your Own Dog, I looked for "Labrador Retriever".The one in the book is a golden lab, but I pulled out my black wool. Thinking of Ben & Ernie which each stitch knit. I think Bernie is a good name for him ♥

What a fun book for knitters. My MIL who has everything she ever wants/needs could use this book since she is knitting to stay alive. (Her words.) This would give her a new project. She mostly knits sweaters. I am so glad you posted this. Your black lab is beautiful. Ben and Ernie would be proud. This quote is oh so right.
