The ordinary arts we practice every day at home are of more importance to the soul than their simplicity might suggest ~ Sir Thomas Moore ~

Thankful {things I love} Thursday...

Welcoming A New Day ...
We've had a lot of rain recently and the changes in the garden have been huge.
There is nothing like a wonderful rain to wake up a garden. The leaves of our Bridal Wreath Spirea were heavy with raindrops...
There's lots of white blooms in our garden at the moment ...
Delicate petals of the Spirea...
and Bleeding Heart ...
Lily-of-the-Valley ...
{I will pick some today to bring inside}
And Robin cheerfully greeting the day :-)
***
Morning is the best of all times in the garden,
The sun is not yet hot.
Sweet vapors rise from the Earth.
Night dew clings to the soil and makes plants glisten.
Birds call to one another.
Bees are already at work.

Hello, and thank you so very much for visiting me at my blog... for now I have found yours! I am in awe of your gorgeous photos I have just begun to look at... Nature plays a major part in my daily life, I cannot imagine life without the melodies from the birds, or the babbling of our brook nearby... in looking down your list of favorite things, that could be my own list as well... I have such a strong love and respect for the past and everything vintage, as I see you do too... I cannot wait to fix myself a cup of herb tea and browse through your older posts... I am signing on as a follower as well... Bisous... Julie Marie
