humble & silky life ♥

"Do you
love
this world?
Do you
cherish
your
humble
and
silky
life?"
~Mary Oliver~

thinking of the words of Mary Oliver on our walk...
Yes* Yes* Yes*
~a thousand times ...Yes~
on a very warm April afternoon
studying all the nooks, crannies, grooves and indentations of favourite "elder" trees
 & fresh, new growth
those who love their spot and will bend and contort to stay put ♥
and whimsical trees ... we call this one our headstand boy :D
bird song filling the air
and squirrels looking down wondering if we had a treat with us
{of course we did}
wise and regal ... do you see his smiling face xo
look ... what do you see?
peek a boo
Maude & Marvin
friends who stopped by as we sat with our lunch

grace
years and years of stories to tell
nesting
~Happy Full Pink Moon~
... also known as Sprouting Grass Moon & Egg Moon

It is fun to see all the paired birds this time of year. The ducks and geese are so large they are easy to see. I too love all of these old souls twisting and contorting to time.It is so cloudy here I doubt I get to see this moon though I know it is there.

A lovely spring walk with you here today as I enjoy my afternoon tea. I've been out in my garden, tidying up all morning, enjoying the warm weather and listening to all the birds that have returned. A lovely April day indeed.
All my best,
Andrea

hello Lisa ~ the full moon was absolutely majestic on the 10th as we walked through the woods with Archer - but on the 11th not so much :-D
