Sunday Serenity ...

I go to Nature
to be soothed
and healed
and to have my senses put in order
~John Burroughs~
is man's teacher.
She unfolds her treasures to his search,
unseals his eye, illumes his mind, and purifies his heart;
an influence breathes from all the sights
and sounds of her existence.

It has been rough 5 days past out here, and around the world. The weather promises to be calm today, so I will be out there. A lot. I feel better already, knowing that as soon as that sun rises, it will just be me and my dog.

I have an affinity for trees and being among them calms me. The quotes are beautiful. I must make note of them.
