The ordinary arts we practice every day at home are of more importance to the soul than their simplicity might suggest ~ Sir Thomas Moore ~

Savouring the beauty ...

Some of the last flowers ...
still looking beautiful
I am scattering seeds as I walk past the cosmos
that have bloomed in huge clusters all through the Summer and into Autumn
and given us lovely little posies for our table
a leaf dances in the air  by my shoulder and lands softly
walking through my garden
taking the time to savour the beauty ...
every little bit of it ♥
Have a wonderful Saturday

Lovely photos . It is cold here today . We just came in from finishing up the rest of the garden clean up and got rid of all the leaves mulched some and used as cover with some burlap over top of some plants to help them survive over the winter . We had wet snow falling as we were doing all of this . Got photos of our Miggy playing in the leaves again this year such a funny dog she is lol ! Thanks for sharing , Have a good day !

The flowers at this time of year are extra special. I love cosmos dearly...their feathery leaves.
