The ordinary arts we practice every day at home are of more importance to the soul than their simplicity might suggest ~ Sir Thomas Moore ~

the last wild flower ...

You know
that Summer has said it's goodbye's ...
&
Autumn
is right  there with it's friendly hello's ...
when walking fields are alive
with wild purple asters ...
Archer was in his glory today roaming through fields of wild flowers ...
it was one of those perfect weather Autumn days
where you walked to the " rhythm of your heart-drum"  ...
the bees
&
butterflies
 added
to the beauty
{I am OK with my summer goodbye's but I will miss the butterflies & bees terribly}...
I only wish I had attached my macro lens when we headed out today.
It was tricky getting close enough to take photos of this gorgeous Monarch
the only one we spotted .  The wild asters were absolutely a buzz with bees
they were EVERYWHERE ♥
Today
is your day
to paint life
in bold colours,
set today's rhythm
with your heart~drum,
walk today's march
with courage.
Create today
as your
celebration
of
life.

Beautiful pictures! I like to make pictures when I walk with our dogs. Autumn makes the woods look great.

Oh yes, beautiful captures of that monarch against the blue of the flowers.
