Weekend Walk ...

Warm, windy, spring day ~ 17 degrees ...
perfect for our hike today
where the tiniest of patches of snow could still be spotted here & there ...

I dressed
and went for a walk -
determined not to return
until I took in
what Nature
had to offer
~Raymond Carver~

Hi Julie Marie & Tessy - It really was a beautiful day for walking - I should have noted that the 17 degrees was Celsius ... 62 degrees Fahrenheit :-)

I'm sure like me you were on a mission for discovery. Looking for a sign of Spring popping through the forest floor.
What was lound and clear I'm sure is the wonderful songs of the various birds who have returned.
It's always comforting to have such a walking companion. I walk with my neighbors dog.
Have a good week.

Such the sweet boy :) It looks about the same here...spring is trying to arrive! Today I saw a tree in blossom and it was wonderful. Isn't it nice to hear the birds again!

Hi Kelly,
It is so nice to hear the birds! I love sitting in the kitchen with my tea listening to the soft cooing of the doves who have returned again ♥
