The ordinary arts we practice every day at home are of more importance to the soul than their simplicity might suggest ~ Sir Thomas Moore ~

Each Day...

Finish each day and be done with it.

You have done what you could; some blunders

and absurdities have crept in; forget them

as soon as you can.

Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it

serenely and with too high a spirit

to be encumbered with your old nonsense

~Ralph Waldo Emerson~

There are signs of Spring popping up everywhere now. The tops of the tulips are through the soil, and the buds on the Lilac are swelling.

The "resident" doves have returned and have been cooing in the garden, we have a pair of cardinals, lots of chickadees, a few red winged blackbirds, a pair of Jays, and of course, lots of little Sparrows ♥

The weather forecast sounds promising ... so this weekend, I hope to pot up some pansies in the window boxes :-)

Hi Deb... what a beautiful quote... love the way you describe Spring arriving at your home, especially the cooing of the doves... we are still having snow here each day and I so want Spring to arrive here too... wishing you a beautiful weekend potting pansies... xoxo Julie Marie
