It ta...You will love shooting in manual mode, Deb! It takes a bit of getting used to but you'll be in charge of the camera instead of the other way around. I use a tripod quite a lot ... even with my IS lenses. I also often use my 2 second timer especially in low lighting so that I can get the sharpest image. Have you thought of get...those are great pictures! Have you thought of getting those videos for each type of camera? I got one for my camera and it really helped alot. You can put it in and start and stop it on your tv. I am a visual learner too so I hear ya~!
