Celebrate EVERYTHING ...

We are a family who believe in
and with New Years Day,  2 birthdays & an Anniversary in January
the year starts with lots of cake, candles, wishes ...
and flowers ♥
rose petal candle holders ...
perfect little saucers
 for catching melting candle wax
 while you are making that extra special
 {sometimes long}
This lovely idea was found in my new cookbook
 {a birthday gift from my daughter who ironically I bought it for also}
The Real Girl's Kitchen
by Haylie Duff
May Light
always Surround you;
Hope kindle
and rebound you.
May your hurts turn to Healing;
your Heart embrace feeling.
May wounds become Wisdom;
every kindness
a prism.
May laughter infect you;
your Passion resurrect you.
May goodness
Inspire your deepest desires.
Through all that you Reach for
May your arms never tire.

hi andrea - I thought this could be used for so many celebrations & will use this idea again as it really does prevent the wax from dripping on the cake :-)

How wonderful to have all those celebrations in January! Loving the idea of using rose petals as candle holders. :)

Hope you're staying warm and cosy, Deb! xoxo

hello Lynda - it really does start the year off lovely (and with all that cake, makes diet resolutions unreasonable, so they stay off the list :-) ) hope you are staying warm and cosy too xo
another cold day.
